Fusion Announces Team Expansion

Fusion Global Business Solutions is delighted to announce the appointment of staff into its Sales, Presales and Resource Management teams. It also welcomes 2 new graduates who joined in September under the Fusion Graduate Scheme.

Fusion welcomes the following people to the Fusion Sales Team:

Thomas Hockton
Sales Specialist

Tom joined Fusion back in May and is responsible for new license sales, currently focusing on BMC Software’s Digital Service Management (DSM) pillar. Prior to Fusion, Tom spent four years working for a SAAS company that develops and markets media monitoring and business intelligence software.

“I had been considering a move into the Enterprise Software Industry for some time. The timing seemed right and the opportunity to work for an organisation that enables businesses to thrive in the era of digital IT was a very exciting prospect. Fusion’s excellent track record in this space and rapid growth over the last few years particularly inspired me to make the move.” 

Sara Morley
Performance and Availability Specialist

Sara joined Fusion in September as a Performance and Availability Specialist. Sara brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience working as a Partner Manager through to a Sales & Marketing Director managing and supporting her own team. Her focus has traditionally been within the marketing area of business specifically within the Web Content Management and bespoke applications space. She has worked directly for software vendors and also for the channel.

“After taking some time out and researching the market, I’m really pleased that I decided to join Fusion. My challenge was to find a company where I would fit so the people and the culture were really important to me. Fusion has all of the above in abundance coupled with the longevity of our customer base and our employees, the solutions that we offer and the value that we deliver to our clients makes for a very compelling story. The relationship that we hold with BMC ensures that we are innovative and agile in our go to market message which is extremely pertinent for our clients that are undertaking some form of Digital Transformation.

Tyson Acquaviva
Account Director

Tyson joined Fusion in October and is responsible for the growth of our footprint in the United States marketplace focusing new customer acquisition and growth within accounts. Prior to Fusion, Tyson spent three years working for a Xerox organization, as a major account manager, selling their multifunction devices and software solutions offerings.

“I am very excited to make the move to Fusion after spending the last three years at Xerox. During the interview process, I easily connected with Raj and really saw the value in helping contribute to the growth and expansion in the United States marketplace. I am confident with his leadership, and the great support that Fusion has to offer, we will continue the significant growth here in the United States.”

Fusion welcomes the following people to the Fusion Resource Management Team:

Rhys Jenkins
Fusion Resource Manager

Rhys joined Fusion on 25th September 2017 and is responsible for managing and contributing to the growth of the Fusion Resource Management division. Rhys brings with him a wealth of recruitment experience. His most recent role involved managing the resourcing business unit for another IT company.

“I joined Fusion because I believe there is a lot of potential to grow Fusion Resource Management from where it’s at now. I agree with Sunil Duggal’s vision of stabilising within the BMC space as well as growing out into other ITSM areas, as well as Salesforce. I look forward to working with the team and to contribute towards Fusion’s continued growth and success.”

Tom Roberts
Fusion Resource Manager

Tom joined Fusion on in September 2017 and is responsible for resource management. Tom brings with him five years of recruitment experience. His most recent role involved managing several accounts and candidates for a recruitment company.

“I have been working in the recruitment industry for around five years and I wanted a slight change with my day-to-day role. FRM was the perfect opportunity to do that. The role at Fusion honed in on my favourite parts of the job, creating and maintaining relationships with candidates/clients as well as working towards personal and team targets. Joining Fusion at such an exciting time, where there are several opportunities for personal and financial success, was a no-brainer and I’m thoroughly looking forward to seeing the growth we can accomplish.”

We also welcome Muther into our Presales Team:

Muther Pola
AI expert and Presales consultant for Digital Service Management.

Muther graduated from the University of Westminster with a 1st BEng Honours in Computer System Engineering. For his degree project, he created a Health Monitor and AI system to monitor and learn patients’ behavioural patterns. Within his role, he will be looking to gain momentum within the Digital Service Management space.

“Throughout my degree I grew a passion for Artificial Intelligence and its applications, to which I decided to create my own A.I. system as my final year project. This was a health monitoring device that tracks behavioural and vital patterns of multiple patients learning over time from the data to make informed decisions. I created every part of that system from the hardware all the way through to the software.”

“In July, I had the pleasure of joining the pre-sales team in Fusion, working alongside Richard, Gary and Doug, so far this has been a great experience as I am constantly improving my knowledge in the areas of DSM and A.I, learning from some of the best minds in the field.”

Fusion Graduate Scheme

We also welcome two new recruits to our Fusion Graduate Scheme. Rahul Dadhania who graduated from Coventry University and Asad Nadeem who graduated with an MSc Degree in Computer Aided Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.

Fusion’s Graduate Scheme will see both Rahul and Asad join our Junior IT Consultant Programme where they will be able to develop a core set of skills to help deliver professional services projects, as well as be able to deliver value to the day-to-day delivery of Fusion professional services and managed service offerings. The training programme will include many technology courses that will deliver formal accreditation (i.e. BMC IT Service Management Software) and industry recognised accreditation (i.e. ITIL).
