Fusion India’s 2nd Foundation Day Anniversary
Fusion Global Business Solutions India’s office in Indore celebrated its 2nd Foundation Day Anniversary in August 2021. The event was rightly themed “A New Beginning”, since the hybrid event was attended by a significant number of team members for the first time in-person over the last 18 months. This was a day to glance back and look forward, while celebrating Fusion in India Team’s success. Since beginning of its operations, Fusion In India team has grown steadily, keeping “Quality” at the heart of everything. Now they work with global customers, which are some of the biggest brands across the world, helping them on their Digital Transformation journeys. Today Fusion In India boasts of a dynamic, immensely talented and multi-cultural team, which works on cutting edge technologies in the Service Management domain.
The day-long event was organised at Hotel Sheraton Grand Palace, Indore looking at the high vaccination uptake within the team and improved local conditions. In addition, all the necessary precautions were taken to make this event safe for the team. The event was virtually attended by many of Fusion’s key stakeholders joining from different parts of the globe. The chief guest for this special occasion was Nitin Deshpande (President – Evolent Health International) – who shared timeless pearls of wisdom from his professional journey spanning an impressive 40+ years. Nitin advised freshers and young leaders about the importance of mentorship, focus, loyalty, and continuous learning – irrespective of the role.
Addressing the team, John Mohan, CEO of Fusion Global Business Solutions shared his vision for Service Management industry over the next 5 years. While congratulating the team in India, John mentioned that Fusion has had many success stories over the years; Fusion’s operations in India is a worthy addition to that long list. “Fusion in India is now a real differentiator for Fusion globally” John added.
MD for Fusion’s India operations, Hrishi Nandedkar while addressing the team added, “Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have put the health and wellness of our employees at the front and centre of everything we do. And we have done that while taking care of our customers and our business. I am extremely proud of how we have operated as a team during these adverse conditions.”
In the series of events planned for the FII Foundation Day, a Hackathon was also organised. This gave our team members an opportunity to blend technology with fun and explore new ideas. The winning teams presented their demos with the entire audience during the event. The first half of the day focussed on business presentations, and our vision ahead. The session concluded with an Awards Ceremony to recognise and appreciate the best performers within the team for their exceptional commitment to Fusion’s goals. Post lunch at the hotel, the second half of the day was an opportunity for the India team to let their hair down. There were various fun team activities and a talent showcase, followed by a team dinner.
