Fusion joins #5forthefight campaign in memory of Dermot Costello
It is with sad regret that we recently heard of the passing of a dear friend and colleague of ours, Dermot Costello, whom we worked with for many years while at BMC Software.
In his memory, Fusion have donated £10,000 to Breakthrough Cancer Research which is associated with the 5fortheFight Campaign. Dermot’s recent company, Qualtrics set up the 5fortheFight Campaign which invites everyone, everywhere to give $5 to fight against cancer and challenge five others to do the same. Participants write on their hand the name of someone who has fought or is fighting with cancer and post a photo or video to social media, explaining why they are joining the campaign and donating to cancer research.
Mark Lyttle, our Chairman adds, “I had the pleasure of working with Dermot for many years while he was at BMC Software. Dermot was such an inspirational person and left an indelible mark on anyone who met him, so it only feels right that we donate to this worthy cause to help eradicate cancer for good. Our thoughts are with Dermot’s friends and family at this sad time.”
