We would like to introduce Dilpreet Singh Sohanpal from our Support Team. Dilpreet is a proactive and enthusiastic individual with over 18 years’ experience having expertise in ITSM, Asset and configuration management, Asset Discovery, Server and Desktop Management, End user computing, Software development and Implementation and all phases of SDLC.

“I have spent for past 8 years working on BMC Bladelogic Client Automation (aka Marimba) and BMC Discovery (aka ADDM). Apart from BMC tools, I pride myself as being an individual with expert programming skills be it web development or hardcore C programming or UNIX or Database programming. I certified engineer for LANDesk and SCCM along with ITIL v3 and PRINCE2 foundation certification.”

Below are a few more facts about Dilpreet that you probably didn’t know. We hope you enjoy getting to know him a bit more!

Where did you grow up?

I was born in northerly state of India, Punjab (Land of five Rivers). From the time of my birth, I travelled with my parents as my father served in the Indian army. This meant that I had a great experience travelling, living and studying in different parts of India ranging from beautiful Satpura mountain ranges to Indo-China border in the remote eastern state of India. Every two years, I had a new school, new friends and a new house. It took only 6 schools to finish my schooling!

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I am freelance wedding and event photographer.

If you could have any other career, what would it be?

It would be becoming a full-time photographer.

What has been your greatest achievement to date?

My family, Wife (Irina), Son (Aryan)

Do you have any pet hates?

Two words, unorganised and unpunctual.

What quality do you most appreciate in yourself?

Trustworthy, honesty, hardworking and frank.

What quality do you most appreciate in others?

Punctuality and honesty.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

It would have to be the power to make sure that every child has a happy childhood with food, education, health and happiness. And at the same time teaching them to be grateful and thankful.

What part of your work is most meaningful/rewarding?

A happy customer.
