The last year has been unique from various perspectives for most of us. The pandemic created a never seen before challenge for businesses worldwide. Employees around the world had to improvise and adjust to a different manner of working.

In all this uncertainty, it was business as usual for Fusion Global Business Solutions in India. We continued to recruit and onboard new employees, were able to deliver the joining kits despite lock-downs in several parts of the country and provided all the necessary training virtually to our new hires. Here are some of our new hires sharing their virtual recruitment and onboarding experience at Fusion GBS.

My experience with the recruitment and onboarding process with Fusion has been very satisfactory and smooth. The recruiter was polite, professional, and kept me in the loop and updated throughout the process. I was onboarded virtually due to the pandemic, but there was never a delay in delivering the required hardware and joining kit to get me started. Induction, company internal trainings and introduction sessions with onshore and offshore teams were quite friendly and comfortable.

In keeping with the demand of the current times, my complete recruitment process – right from the interview to my onboarding was handled virtually. HR & Finance departments guided me through all the pre-joining processes efficiently. Post joining, I had a video session with the Managing Director – who summarized the walkthrough of Fusion.

My line manager then introduced me to the team and other employees virtually. Weekly video conferencing activities – sessions with the CEO and team meetings – were all a new experience for me.
