NATO Support Consultant Vacancy

This is a role core to stabilizing and growing services support contracts with the customer, both Managed Service and Support and Maintenance. Building solid relationships in all levels within the operations and delivery group is a key part of the role as is creating an outstanding customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Assessing Incidents received into the support queue and responding to customers within the response SLA
  • Managing incidents to resolution, ensuring that the customer is kept up to date with their actions
  • Troubleshooting BMC Application issues, using resources/tools such as Fusion and BMC Knowledge Base
  • Working with Fusion Professional Services consultants to overcome issues encountered on-site
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Submitting tickets to BMC in the correct format and facilitating all calls/web meetings between BMC and the customer
  • Creating Knowledge articles and sharing knowledge with the team
  • Small changes and developments for Managed Service customers
  • Use of the Salesforce for time recording
  • Handle special projects with no degradation of ongoing assignments and responsibilities
  • Some out of hours working
  • You are likely to already have experience as a business development specialist working with corporate partners on a strategic level to identify business opportunities and create demand.
  • You can demonstrate a good understanding of the corporate procurement process and the need to engage with multiple stakeholders across an organisation.
  • Your skills include lead generation, market research and relationship management and you have a good eye for detail and the ability to share information in a detailed way, to assist them in their work.
  • You will understand the complexities of the sales process involving multiple stake holders in a wide variety of departments, and you enjoy reviewing and learning about business trends and marketplace conditions.

 

Skills and availabilities

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to read / speak English
  • Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles
  • Self-motivation and initiative
  • Understanding of BMC Applications
  • Basic understanding of operating systems, Databases, TCP/IP and network communications
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks within an agreed timescale
  • Cognizance of the workload of the rest of the team and ability to prioritize tasks in accordance with this i.e. asking for help when needed and offering help during downtime
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • If needed working on site
  • Technical skills in MS and Linux Server, as well in Kubernetes and Docker or other related tools are appreciated

 

What you bring

You are naturally well-organized and detail-oriented individual and enjoy engaging with new contacts on an ongoing basis. You are also likely to have If this sounds like you, then take a look at our technical requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, business or similar field
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a B2B company environment
  • A good understanding of various social media channels (LinkedIn, twitter, youtube)
  • An understanding distribution of digital content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to engage well with your colleagues across the organisation as well as with key business partners
  • Excellent written communication skills, specifically spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Spanish or English as a mother tongue is a must and business fluency in Spanish and English. Dutch or German is also a plus
  • You are highly self-motivated, proactive and organized with a very positive attitude
  • The ability to work independently

 

Qualifications

Honours Degree and/or commercial experience with BMC products
